Who to contact
This guide is for the Brabant Development Agency (BOM). BOM’s published privacy statement identifies Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij Holding B.V. and its group companies. The official contact address is Goirleseweg 15, 5026 PB Tilburg, the Netherlands. Questions or feedback about this guide during the pilot: contact Guido van Gageldonk, Venture developer at BOM, via the AI-tech page.
For privacy questions, requests or a suspected data incident, contact meldpunt_BOM_security_privacy@bom.nl. See the official BOM privacy statement for the organisation’s processing purposes, legal bases, recipients and rights procedure.
What happens to your answers
- While you work: answers are held in the memory of this browser tab. When you follow an internal page link, a temporary copy carries the record through this tab’s session storage. The next page reads and removes that copy; copies older than five minutes are ignored. This is only used to keep your work during navigation, not to save it for a later visit. Closing or reloading the page can lose changes you have not saved.
- Only when you select “Save on this device”: one copy of the record and a save timestamp are placed in this browser’s local storage, under the key
bom-founder-decision-v1. This provides the saving function you explicitly request. Changes are not saved automatically. - Duration: the saved copy expires 30 days after the latest save. The site checks on your next visit and removes an expired copy. Data can therefore remain on an unused device until you return or clear it.
- Deletion: “Delete my draft” removes the current record and the saved copy from this browser. You can also clear this site’s data using your browser settings. Exported files and copies you have shared are separate.
- Exports: Markdown files are created in the browser. Printing or saving a PDF uses your browser’s print function. You control where those files go.
The device copy is not encrypted by this application. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read it. Prefer roles and short evidence summaries to personal or confidential details on a shared device.
Cookies, tracking and external services
The application adds no analytics, advertising trackers, social embeds or cookies. Fonts, the illustration and the downloadable guide load from this site. Local saving is optional and has its own visible action; browsing and exporting work without it. There is no non-essential tracking to accept.
Delivering web pages still involves technical request data, such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information, handled by the hosting infrastructure. The browser-only workspace does not mean that no personal data is processed. This site runs on ChatGPT Sites. BOM’s privacy contact can provide the applicable hosting arrangements, retention criteria and any international-transfer safeguards; this page does not assert that hosting processing is confined to the EU.
Following a source or BOM website link opens a separate website with its own privacy practices. This application does not transfer your draft with those links. If you choose to let a browser assistant work with the page, that assistant may read or edit your record under your instructions and its own service settings.
The AI sparring companion is a static Markdown download. This site does not send your answers to an AI service. If you upload the guide and your own information to an external AI tool, that service’s terms and your account settings apply. Check your authority to share, redact unnecessary confidential or personal information, and review the tool’s access, retention and training settings first.
Your choices and rights
You control the local draft directly with the deletion button above. BOM cannot retrieve it from this application. For personal data processed by BOM, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable; you may also object to processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights depend on the processing involved.
You can raise a concern with BOM at the privacy address above or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local EU supervisory authority.
How this design relates to EU rules
The site minimises data collection and only stores the draft when you ask it to. The EU’s guidance on online privacy and cookies distinguishes storage needed for an explicitly requested service from tracking that requires prior consent. If analytics, embeds or other data collection are added, the privacy design and notice must be reviewed first.
